Wedding season is the best season because it’s the perfect excuse to bring all of your friends and family together to celebrate. Not only that, but I can’t tell you how special and loved my people made me feel. I truly don’t deserve them and I will cherish these moments forever. I am fortunate enough to have 3 bridal showers this year, so I have been on the hunt for a statement white dress. (For those who are curious, I have one in Houston since that’s where I’m from, one in Colorado since that’s where Ben is from, and then a small one in Wisconsin for my family there). If you know me, I didn’t want just any white dress - I had to have THE white dress, especially because you’re only a bride once. YOBO? I had found a dress awhile back that was my back up plan, but I kept searching. My friend who is a fashion major kept sending me links as well because we were determined. I swear whenever you’re not the bride, you see white dresses everywhere, but once you’re in the spotlight, it’s impossible. I think it’s because I was just so picky. Anyway, I searched at my go-to shops and finally found the one at ASOS. I bought the ASOS "Vesper Mini Dress with Exaggerated Sleeve in White" and it was beautiful. I got so many compliments on it and you will too, trust me on this. Here are a few pics of me in the dress with my girls.

It was truly the best day. I can’t believe I get to call these women my friends and family. They spoiled us with lots of gifts and showered me with so much love. My lifelong neighbor hosted the shower and she did an incredible job. It was at the Houston Arboretum and it was stunning. She had beautiful flower centerpieces, a gorgeous cake, delicious food and mimosas, and we played the funniest game. My mom was getting a little tipsy which made it even more fun. Also, each of the girls brought us a recipe for our new Miele recipe book which I’m really excited for! I can’t wait to share the recipes with you guys! Here's a picture of the recipe book and apron she put together for us :)

That's because these dresses sell out QUICK, so if you have your eyes on one of these babies - you better add to cart quick. I tried to find some dresses that had a large amount of stock, but if your size is sold out then I recommend hopping on the waitlist!
